Have you heard of Dust 514?
DUST 514 is a Console FPS MMO that takes place on the planets of EVE-Online. The Next update to EVE-Online is the COSMO stuff, witch is the social networking thing that is also the 1st step in the ground work for the Ambulation, or Walking in Stations, currently renamed Incarna, COSMO is also the 1st step in linking DUST 514 to the EVE-Online universe.
DUST 514 and EVE-Online will be played on the same server and interlinked or interswined and effect Sov within the EVE universe. Basicaly DUST 514 will be an FPS expansion of EVE-Online, they have been working on this for 3 years and resently relased info at a EURO Game developers conference. More details will be relaesed at FAN FEST and if CCP holds true to form, the Alliance Tournament Finals are live events on EVE TV, we will also get some info there as well.
CCP aquired title rights to the game on XBox, PS3 and PC, so don't dispair of you don't have or like console games because over time the intire game will probably move over to PC or at least have a PC version.
