old news...

when they where testing the A-bomb, there was a possiblity it would destroy the earth...  and somehow a couple thousand people where able to keep the tests a secret, heh

it wont create a black whole, even a tiny one. it just simply doesnt have the mass too... and if im wrong well, you can laugh at me on the other side :P.. if there is indeed another side

I know that but I believe Xen and Fid were having a convo once about Dark Matter and such I just wanted to see what he had to say about it considering that they might be able to find it.

personally, i feel there's just as much chance physicists have underestimated the gravitational forces produced by the mass we can see by 85%.

i mean think of it like this; there's something out there more mythical than unicorns, or we got some previous calculations wrong.

i have no idea which is true, but to me they're both equally likely. hell, i've even seen pictures of unicorns.

just to confuse things even more though, there's a third possibility as well. dark matter might not be a particle at all, but rather something else which creates gravitational force, therefor 'dark matter' could exist, we could be correct in our gravitational physics calculations, but just not be looking in the right place for the missing piece of the physics puzzle.
