While those are close I think the real statement is in your scatmax use (I wouldnt bother with AV either)...I love alot of you but people like "Mr. I hate the world b/c I am not even effective in splatter max" continues to make you look stupid.  Who responds to a thread like this with only "Names pls"

I dont get why people complain about certs in this game.  Its a game, they put those certs in there to be used.  If you dont like Scat Maxs, then get better with AV.  Just because someone in a Scat Max kills you doesnt mean they have less skill, they are just smarter then you and know how to use their weapon.  I have a Scat Max do I like it, no!  I use it because on my NC I dont have Rexo but for some instances where I am strongly outnumbered I like to have somthing thats stronger then Agile.  You can post all the statistics you want, but what are you you trying to prove? That DT is better then 1CMM?   Does 1CMM have a requirment that if you dont have ADV Hack or ADV Med that you need a max? 

 

 

I dont mean to pick on DT but you presented facts with DT in them so I though I would point that out.  I have nothing against DT, I have some very good friends in that outfit but I just cant stand looking on every planetside forum and see people complaining about Scat Maxs, Biffers, Plasma, extc, extc.  I think everyone should just stop complaining and learn how to counter those things that they consider noobish.

That's not enough, I won't be happy until I see triple digit usage. We midgets are not living up to our name...from this day forth, everyone shall be required to cert scatmax and live in the suit. Tube camping in it is not only suggested, it's mandatory.

I'm with Stairway though, I really can't stand using my scat max on my alt, I like being swifter and more flexible, but man, it can sure mow through folks sometimes.

 

Well while Fayaz fights a good battle for you (I wouldnt expect you to use your brain) he is incorrect.

 

Since rev doesnt have a breakdown of players who have Max certed I used the Tourney roster as it is smaller and I could skip players I know dont have max, those I respect (examples: Fayaz, nox etc)

 

In your Tourney roster you have 27 people, 11 Maxes certed.  Not sure if Preach could do this but Fayaz could certainly tell him that is above 33% (# I listed for midgets).  I counted 15 midget/VSAM people in the squad and they have 6 max certed, once again above 33%.  I would bet as it draws nearer those numbers will increase as well.

 

Descada might not be greater than Fayaz but Preach is still an idiot and I have done what I came on here to do, now carry on making excuses for yourselves.

 

*This is my count might be off by 1 or 2 but it should be noted, Preach, Verdent and Stairway all have maxes as they try to lash back.

Did I not post that I had a max, did I not say that I dont like using it but it is needed sometimes.  You are comparing staticts from our outfit wars platoon without presenting you outfits team statistics.  I really dont get why you have so much hate for maxs?  They are a part of this game, if you dont like then unsub.

See, some players in this game get HUGE egos and mentalities about what is "fair-play" (or crutches) and what is not.

 

Examples:

Anyone who uses Pshields is a ultimate loser, yet said user often does win out in 1 vs 1 battles against the pshield less . Usually the l337 player will blame Pshield as the cause, although 90% of the time the Pshield user will be a sitting duck b/c of no stam later in the fight.

 

 The coup de grais is the Max user+Pshield. Often times people like Sturm will have it certed for their firiing lines, because they don't ADADADADADA warp like others do(myself included).

 

 (Me personally I like to surge and rep/rearm, not sit there like an idiot with no stam).

 

 

Max users:(mainly AI max, Scat Max being the most hated and feared)

 

3-6(Unixmax) Cert points for a huge hulking beast that can lay waste to infantry, but islow as a snail, can be taken out in 2-3 seconds via AV/CE/AP, cannot repair/hack etc.

 

Every 1337fit has some users who love it, this goes down and up from time to time, leading to stuff like this from our friend Descada.

Same as above but considered even more pathetic and skillless.

 

 

 

 

To sum it up: Anyone who tries to achieve some kind of "unfair" or "cheap" advantage is deemed unworthy by a  MINORITY in the PS community. I always wondered if running around in standard getting knife kills would be the ultimate show of 1337ness.

It may turn out that many of the currently enlisted won't be able to play, we'll have to adjust the roster accordingly. We may also need to create a second Emerald NC squad, get everyone in there and all those from different empires who expressed interest to play with us (and there are many skilled players who contacted me) but were afraid that there would be no room.

 

I bet they do just like in the simpsons...
