In California there is going to be a legislation passed to ban Pitbulls. This legislation will make it so all pitbulls will be exterminated and no pitbulls will be allowed into the state. This law is outrageous and could affect millions of peoples lives. i live in toledo ohio. anti-pitbull capital of ohio and home to the most hated dog warden any pitbull owner could ever know. i couldn't be happier knowing i dont have to worry about a killing machine strolling through my neighborhood looking to eat my kids. i was bitten by a pitbull when i was 14. i never knew it was even after me until i was already being bit, and i was on a skateboard coming home from football practice. I can't imagine what woulda happened if i was a 7-year old walking down the sidewalk. kill'em all -------------

Im just trying to put the word out there because I believe this legislation is wrong. And snikt even though there are some vicious dogs *OF ALL BREEDS* it doesnt mean that all the dogs of a certain breed should be punished. Its like saying (and im not racist) that since crimes in cities are usually commited by African Americans so we should put them all in jail, its ignorant. Just remember its not the dog, its the owner who trains it to be vicious. ------------- |

some breeds have aggressive tendencies from generations of inbreeding. You see it in pitbulls, dalmations, and chows. For every three guys with nice well behaved pits theres one guy with twelve in his basement hungry and waiting to get out. -------------

i have to agree with SNIKT. those dogs have no place in this world. if they killed them all, and all it did was save 1 kids life, it would be worth it. |

I don't live in California currently but I did for 20 years, and I am still a California resident, and if this ever came to a vote with the people I would vote in support of this ban. Those dogs are nothing more than killing machines. The good that would come from this ban far outweighs the negatives here. No animal is worth a humans life, sorry. Go to google and type in "Pitbull Attack"... not a pretty sight. ------------- |
