Nothing uber fancy, but compared to my no frills(no camera anything) I had for 2 years, it is pretty snazzy. Pleasant surprise too, as we got 2 for 1 deal, so my fiance and I have the same deal now, making it easy for accesories, tech issues etc. She was sad she couldn't get a pink one though lol.

Then we got VCAST for free for a month, which is kinda neat. I can watch ESPN videos and other cool things.

I'm mainly just stoked about the MP3 and camera on it.

Couple questions though:

Would this work on transfering MP3s/photos from PC to  my phone?

Also, you know of any *ahem "3rd party" apps that can work for this phone?

Probably be picking up a pair of 512 mini sd cards soon too, so we can store some short videos, music etc.

All thanks to my Dad who came home for 15 days from Afghanistan and got us a early Christmas gift.

It all depends on the app you use to transfer data. My g/f has the lil V3 razr, the only way we can get the pics off of it is by email. I think that is why they don't come with a data cable, useless, unless you are using a mac with isync maybe.

Xen, you didn't get a micro-USB cable with the RAZR? Plugs in right on the side and into a USB port, and you can use the Motorola tools to add/remove contacts, ringtones, pics, whatever.

Lotta cool tweaks on here. Everything from free internet access(via WAP wtf..), watching movies(on 1gb/2gb SD sticks) and more.

What I decided on doing is getting a couple 512 MB mini SD sticks(maybe one 1Gb for a movie experiment) and a 5-in-1 SD reader, taht plugs into a USB port, and acts like another HD. That way, no stupid Cell only USB cables, and it's actually faster transfering things from the SD card to cell. Just pop it in and out.

I installed it and was able to use the "LiveUpdate" feature to upgrade to the newest version. I don't have a cell phone though, so I wasn't able to test the functionality.

when i worked at radioshack this summer i actually saw three different people get new cell phones to replace that exact motorola phone, no joke. The display on it is a bunch of tiny lightbulbs that light up to show a phone number, its not even like a calculator display, its actually tiny lightbulbs...

Lol, Bhop, that's pretty funny.  I choose that picture, because when I was really young, I remember my dad used to use one just like that, haha.

Good times.

hehe indeed Fayaz.

Although, one would think sitting in front of a PC for hours on end may be more detrimental than stray RF eh?

hehe.

Another interesting tidbit is...what is the most dangerous thing we do everyday, yet no one really probes this question?

Why don't we wear helmets when drive our cars? Can't mess up your hair before work? Airbags/seatbelt enough for you?

*wraps head in extra strength tinfoil

The program works fine, mine also updated to the latest. They used to give this software free back in the day I thought.

I am going to replace my old audiovox soon, was looking into the Moto KRZR, anyone have any experience with this phone?
