i used to play tabletop fantasy warhammer with a friend that was green/red colorblind. I purchased red/green speckled dice to drive him insane tryin to read my dice. hehe

Yeah I'm red-green colourblind.

  • Deuteranomaly: Having a mutated form of the medium-wavelength pigment. The medium-wavelength pigment is shifted towards the red end of the spectrum resulting in a reduction in sensitivity to the green area of the spectrum. Unlike protanomaly the intensity of colors is unchanged. This is the most common form of color blindness, making up about 6% of the male population.
  • Don't worry, I know what green and red look like. Or I'd be constantly grief-locked. Hehe. They're just not as bright as other colours. Ie purple squad in chat looks royal blue to me because red colour content in purple is obscured by yellow/gold squad because of its significant green RGB component.

    one more reason that proves the following (this is for you, fayaz):

    Empire TR, VS, NC;
    TR = new Empire("red");
    VS = new Empire("purple");
    NC = new Empire("blue");
    if(VS.getColor("purple") && NC.getColor("blue")
    {
        while(fayaz.isColorBlind())
        {
            TR.win(true);
            TR.setGreater(VS);
            TR.setGreat(NC);
        }
    }

    lol, we should submit these to SOE, they might learn something?

    naa.. but on a serious subject, see if you can find out why this program does not work. i have it set up EXACTLY how SOE does it. basically, it compiles and executes fine, but nothing actually happens...

    Import PS.dev.*;
    Import PS.player.*;
    Import PS.appeal.*;

    class Development implements SOE
    {
        String[] feedbackList = new String[100];
        int next = 0;

        public static void main(String[] args)
        {
            while(PlayerBase.disgruntled(true))
           {
                if(Player.appeal(PlayerAppeal) && PlayerAppeal.legitimate(false))
               {feedback(PlayerAppeal);}

              if(Player.appeal(PlayerAppeal) && PlayerAppeal.legitimate(true))
              {System.DanB.handOfGod(Player);}

              if(PlayerBase.disgruntledDegree() >= 1000000)
              {update();}
           }
        }

        public void update()
        {runUpdate(feedbackList);}

        public void feedback(String appeal)
        {
           if(feedbackList.length() == next)
           {feedbackList.deleteAll();}
           else
           {feedbackList[next++] = appeal;}
        }

        public Update runUpdate(String[] args)
        {
           if(args!=null)
           {
              for(int i=0; i<args.length(); i++)
              {
                System.properties.evaluate(args);
              }
           }
        }
    }

    It's kinda funny, I am taking a CS class in Ethics in Tech, and there are a ton of Non Eng/CS major(at Oregon State btw, a HUGE eng/cs school).

    Even teh teacher says that she wants to make the groups mixed with students from Liberal Arts(me) and the Math intensive students.

    I mean...I can write  a 15 page paper on African American troops during the Civil War no probs...but solving some complex ass CS coding or Engy problem, yah right!

    And I think a lot of CS/Engy guys may say the same thing, vice versa.

    for me, its all about the algorithms, i love them, i could sit there all day working out how to make computers actualy Do stuff

    that and the projects i did in colledge where boring as hell, so i never did any of the homework. Database sorting crap mostly. i did that sh*t when i was in grade 10, and i made it a hole lot more exciting then just 'sorting' files.

    http://www.1cmm.net/forum/uploads/VerdantForce/2006-04-11_160100_Planet2.zip - 2006-04-11_160100_Planet2.zip

    It may not look like it, but it has a sort method running it :) i got perfect grades all that class because my teacher let me do the work in an intresting way, while evrebody else was just sorting data into difrent feilds in Alphabetical order, i did this instaid.

    i think its the one class i ever truly enjoyed :P

    http://www.1cmm.net/forum/uploads/VerdantForce/2006-04-11_160332_TheBox.zip - 2006-04-11_160332_TheBox.zip   - I forget what that one was for, it was somthing about Generating random numbers and doing somthing with them, i think.

    dam i wish i could go back :(

    One of my favorite classes in college was Artificial Intelligence.  Got to write code in LISP (that sucked lol), but the fun part was the mutation calculation things...really cool to watch something you wrote mutate. :D
