Yeah the tech guy is concerned it's not just hte power supply(read mobo)

I do have a PC guy who can work on my machine and piece it back together, instead of me laying down some dough for a pre-built, like  a DELL.

Dell=more expensive overall, but warranty and ease of use(plus it's all brand new and compatability issues are nice).

What ya think?

Any other online sites similar to Dell that are priced well?

Ifi did do a new computer, I don't really need a monitor forone, and also I only have like $1-1500k to spend.

1500 is enough for a top of the line comp if you know the right guy :P

if your buddy is that guy, go for it, if hes not, dont bother.

my computer was 1100 without a vidio card, evrething top of the line

and i had gotten the ATI Radeon X800 Pro 2 months befor it was realeased, so it was VERrY expensive, at 600$ ( well worth it anyway IMO )

I just have a lot of stuff already if its ok(still waiting on word) like decent video card, RAM, HDs(could use some more space...) etc.

And since I don;'t really build myself, i feel like it'sa waste if that junk just sits around, or try and sell it on E-bay.

I will probably just have my buddy piece me back together another PC, we shall see..
