This game is being created by Flagship Studios, which contains a lot of ex-Blizzard game programmers, artists etc. A lot of them worked on Diablo 2 and it's subsequent expansion pack(s). Not sure when it comes out, most likely around late 2006.

From the screen shots and video... it looks like a pretty darn good game.
