Is anyone surprised. Join the army, your chances of getting shot greatly increase. Inject heroine, your chances of a drugs overdose greatly increase. Wrestle crocodiles, f**k around with poisonous insects, shout 'BLOIIMMEY' when something nearly bites your head off, chances of an animal kicking the sh*t out of ya, greatly increase.
I do feel bad though, The only reason I used to watch his show was just incase a croc managed to rip an arm off or something.

What he did looked dangerous but the way he did things made them alot more safe than you would imagine
the last stingray kill in australia was 1945 i believe (its what it said on the news) so what a way to die..

Yeah, stingrays usually sting the legs or feet while you're walking on the sand, so it hurts like a bitch, but it doesn't kill. Sounds like he was stung in the chest.

This is truly sad. Even though he was a bit annoying he truly did love the animals that he took care of and saved. He was only 44 and left behind two young children, RIP Croc Hunter. And Aqua yeah he was stung right in the Heart.

I never knew this until today when I was watching Animal Planet but Steve besides saving countless animals also saved a fellow human beings life. He was filiming a show in Baja California when reports of two divers came to Steves attention. He stopped filming the seals and sharks and immediatly went out on a search to find the divers. After 20 hours of them being missing Steve found one of the divers stranded on a small island barley alive. Steve and the rest of the crew saved the man but the other diver (a 70 old woman) had unfortunatly died and floated away. If it wasnt for Steve the man would have probably died from starvation or his injuries since a proper search was not being conduced by authorities. After hearing that it really did heighten my respect for him. He loved the wildlife he worked with but he also truly cared about his fellow man.
