OK 1st off I know little about computers so yea I'm a noob.  So heres the thing, I can get the picture from my monitor onto the tv using an S-Video cable and the 3 color cords (red white and yellow) lol.  The problem is my VCR cannot record any of those "channels".  Is there anyway to get the picture onto..perhaps channel 3? where my VCRcan record it?  It might just be my VCR though...dunno lol.  Thanks for any help

*EDIT* and a side note for Fayaz about the new forums, when viewing them some of the threads are pushed off far to the right. Once again I know little about computers and the sort lol so it my be firefox or something..just thought I'd let ya know.

If you need it on channel 3 you need a rf modulator.

Romulus, I don't think it's well setup.

You should have your PC sound and video going to a VCR input, and then having cables running from any VCR out to your TV in, so you can see what's being recorded.

Hope this answers your question.

What he's saying is, take those cords you have plugged from your compy to your tv, and plug them into your vcr inputs.

so it goes: compy->vcr->tv
not: compy->tv<-vcr

beware, you will need to play PS at a Lower Resolution then you are probably used too if you finaly get it all set up. the TV max resolution is somthing weird like 1000x920 or somthing around that, i gave up pretty quick when i played at that resolution.

and you might need to hit 'Force TV Detection' somewhere in your settings if you have an ATI vidio card, im not sure how it works for other vidio cards
