On another note, it's a good idea to wear socks or slippers around the house. If you're used to walking barefoot, well, it may be a bit odd at first, but you won't regret it:
Covering your feet increases your body temperature by about 4 degrees F. by default, hence your body doesn't need to produce as much heat to stay at the same temperature and can use those BTUs for other stuff.
Less chances of hurting yourself and stuff, can't remember the last time I stubbed my toe on something.
Less chances of getting dirt and crap (but you might find the occasional bit of lint) in your toenails.
Looks damn cool if you get the right mac-daddy slippers man, as soon as I get home I take off my shoes, put on the slippers, daaaammn!!
