Been taking a look at Guild Wars lately and it looks pretty good. The main game and two expansions can be purchased through steam for $40 and it doesn't have a monthly fee.

It has a free trial as well; http://www.guildwars.com/freetrial/

Been doing a lot of reading on Guild Wars 2 and watching gameplay videos etc. and I must say that I'm pretty impressed with how GW2 looks so far. I'm going to be picking it up for sure.

For a split second I wanted to play WoW again, but then I remembered how terrible the game is.

I'm really looking forward to Guild Wars 2. Persistent world MMORPG, no monthly cost, awesome graphics.

Whats nice is my wow account is all locked up tight and I would need to go to Blizzards HQ and give them a DNA sample to unlock it and there is no way I would want to create a new account cause its a horrible evil game anyways . As far as WoW goes...its dead to me...doesn't even exists.

Isn't Guild Wars more geared towards smaller guilds instead of 100+ member guilds?

Yea, GW is geared towards smaller guilds/player groups than WoW is.

Try Vindictus beta it is quite awesome me and Hidef have been playing it a bit.  I have two extra beta keys if you would like to try it.
