Sledding behind a truck, going 15-20mph on logging roads, a few months back.
Me being a bit of a worry wort/pansy, I was complaining the whole time on the way up the mountain, and nearly twice we about flipped off the side and into the trees and crevaces below.
On the way out, we actually skidded on pine needles after our driver(tard) was hot dogging it in front of some peoples, and we nearly hit a tree and ditch. I was extra protective b/c fo my fiance was in the back with me(plus th efact we were effectively trapepd back there as it's a 2 door canvass topped jeep.
ENJOY!
*fiance on left, note my feirce look of concentration as I grip the sled with super-human strength. The trick was to follow the tire rutts like a tubbagon(sp), lest you wipe out over and over. The tricky part was, praying your finger or leg didn't get akwardly trapped and snapped off, by all manner of rock, concrete etc. I did a couple trips on this thing for about a 1,000 yds, but started thinking I better not test my luck, and the glaring lack of insurance also made that decision easy. :}
You can also see that after a few rounds, I was effectively blind to allthe snow flying up into my face, ears and mouth
