living on campus is the most convenient thing right now, so i decided to live in the dorms yet again. what comes with old dorms? sh¡tty internet. on any large downloads (or even some small ones), the connection craps out on me and i lose the whole file, leaving me to start all over. i've never really had a need for a download manager until this type of thing showed up.

so, anyone know of a good (yet free/"free") download manager?
